Nothing but a rebound

Image
My crime was that I loved you and believed that you loved me too. It's been a while since I stopped reminiscing about you. I got over the obsession that was you. I've changed now. And I believe, so have you. But sometimes I still wonder.. Do you still hold her like a glass princess? Do you still look at her like she is the moon? Do you still breathe in her scent like oxygen? Do you still whisper promises of eternity into her ear? But most of all... I wonder, do you still love her the way I loved you? It's strange. Our relationship, I mean. What exactly are we? I am that extreme measure taken by him to get back that, which he loves more than life, that, which was once his. I am a rebound. I was surprised that this has a name. Then I realized this happens every now and then. He is always willing to take that extreme measure to make sure she doesn't leave. Do we not deserve a Him like that? Is this the s...

Right time

So finally we meet, At a time so wrong. When you are in love And I am in chaos I can't welcome you I'm sorry for that I'm tearing you apart I apologize for that The time is wrong And I'm not strong. I wish I could say it back But I've lost my voice Just like my desire to live The time is wrong But the people are right It's me with you And this wonderful view But alas, the white gown is stained red And the tuxedo has thorns It's not now we are supposed to meet But time betrays me And again I failed. The right time is still under the veil.

Chaos

Racing thoughts, slow speech Beating heart, quiet screech, Nails digging into her skin Hands tearing apart her scalp Tears staining her cheeks Blood staining her wrists What more was there to feel? She wrote millions of letters None of them making sense She walked thousands of miles Without feeling any pain Was it because she was drained? With thoughts that were too lame. There was pain, it's true. With wounds and bruises too. But the scars were all that mattered And the wounds were left scattered A soul was left alone When all she wanted was a home She is in chaos, it's true. But the one keeping her there, is YOU.

Melancholy?

A story not told. A wound not healed. A life not lived. Sounds sad right? Well...this is the reality for some of us. No. We are not exactly depressed. It's just a different state of being. A state where you're just existing. Neither sad nor happy. Just existing. It's like food without any spices. It fulfills its purpose but that's just it. Nothing more, nothing less. A personal void. Wondering if this is true? Or worse still, thinking about your own void? For the latter, it's okay to have a void. It's often an escape from reality. Consider it as an advantage to your already beautiful soul. For the former, have you ever noticed that exceptionally cool friend of yours, zoning out? Have you ever noticed the unusual quiet that sometimes swallows your friends circle? Have you ever taken notice of yourself, sitting alone by the window, on a windy day, thinking about nothing in particular? When you become aware of yourself, you learn about your void. Wha...

Hidden

Do you believe it too? -- Do you believe her smiles are true?     Look beyond them. She's hiding a frown. One she doesn't want the world to see. -- Do you believe her laughter is real?    Look carefully. She's trying not to break. Because she wants to be strong so desperately. -- Do you believe she is cheerful?    Look behind the mask. She's is full of sorrows. But doesn't want others to be so. -- Do you believe she is funny?    Listen carefully to her voice. She's trying to distract herself from the hell that keeps dragging her. -- Do you believe she is childish?    Look at how many tough decisions she has made. She is not proud of what she has experienced. -- Do you believe she is happy?    Look beyond the facade. At the palace that's crumbling down . At the world that's falling apart. At the life that's getting sucked into oblivion. -- Do you believe she loves herself?     You can't imagine...

The Glass Princess

Once upon a time, there lived a glass princess, in Evergreen town. Her father, the King Just, was a very wise man, who loved his only daughter like anything. Her mother, the Queen Wise, was the most beautiful and the most talented woman that ever graced Evergreen town. The princess grew up to be very beautiful. Every man and woman, living in that town, loved her and her kind nature. But the king grew very worried because soon she would be of marriageable age. He knew there was no one worthy of his daughter's love. He was afraid someone would break her. The Queen Wise assured him that no such thing would happen. But her worries were no less. And then came a day, when the glass princess demanded to see the forest beyond Evergreen town. The King and Queen failed to make her aware that the forest beyond them, is something she should beware. The princess was adamant to visit the forest beyond. And find out the bird that sings all day long. So the King and Queen let her go. On c...

Black

Black themed wallpapers to a blind heart. She had everything in darkness. Not a single soul saw the light that emanated from her. The brutal blinding light that threatened to consume those around her. She took great care to keep it all inside. To keep it all hidden. But nothing stays hidden for long. That is written. And he saw it. Saw how desperate she was to hide her true self but he couldn't understand why. He couldn't understand why she didn't see the beauty of the light. If only he knew.. The numerous lives the light had took.

Did you?

The silence of the night. The deafening noise of her heartbeat. The monotonous ticking of the clock. And the heaviness of her last breath. Her emptiness consuming her whole. The darkness enveloping her soul. The tears burning her eyes, like coal. The lost fight taking a toll. A ruined sculpture that can't be mold. The pain seeming like gold. The light gone while asking for some more. Did you notice her plea? Her disappearing glee? Her urge to flee? Her want to be free? If only you did.
