Do you believe it too?

--Do you believe her smiles are true?

    Look beyond them. She's hiding a frown. One she doesn't want the world to see.

--Do you believe her laughter is real?

   Look carefully. She's trying not to break. Because she wants to be strong so desperately.

--Do you believe she is cheerful?

   Look behind the mask. She's is full of sorrows. But doesn't want others to be so.

--Do you believe she is funny?

   Listen carefully to her voice. She's trying to distract herself from the hell that keeps dragging her.

--Do you believe she is childish?

   Look at how many tough decisions she has made. She is not proud of what she has experienced.

--Do you believe she is happy?

   Look beyond the facade. At the palace that's crumbling down. At the world that's falling apart. At the life that's getting sucked into oblivion.

--Do you believe she loves herself?

    You can't imagine how much hatred she carries in her heart only for herself. No creation of man can fathom the poison she gives herself everyday.. every moment.

   She carries so much love in her heart but none for herself. And all of this is hidden in the deepest parts of her soul.

I once read a post that said storms are nice; they are proof that even nature has her breakdowns, her moments of crisis when she becomes anything but beautiful. Bitter Distraction

Someone once asked me why I like my coffee so bitter. I didn't know how to answer that. How do you even answer a question like that? It's like a distraction, you see. Like when you have a killing headache and you bang your head on the desk, really hard, out of frustration. And then you feel the pain and it hurts but it's a good kind of hurt because for a moment you forget about your headache. A distraction. A temporary satisfaction. It's the same thing with coffee. When you have lost all sorts of interest in everything and you stop tasting food, and only eat because you need it to be alive. And then you drink this bitter liquid and it doesn't taste that good but it's a distraction from the tastelessness. And so it tastes nice. Isn't it the same in life? An intro. The most important part of anything. Be it a song. A book. Anything and everything requires an intro. For days I tried, in vain, to write an intro about myself. But I failed repeatedly. It was after a long time that I finally realised my mistake. I was describing myself superficially. The same way I would introduce myself to a stranger. But my audience certainly deserve to know more about me. They're no stranger. They're family. So I decided to be myself. After all being vulnerable is not being weak. You see....I have friends who are good at everything. I idolize people who are talented in one sector, one aspect. I love brilliant people. I love geniuses. I have parents who believe that I am one of a kind. And then there's Me. I am not exceptionally talented or something. I am not particularly skilled or experienced either.
